Who we are looking for
AnGrasta Technologies is seeking a talented and driven IoT Developer with expertise in developing camera sensors and experience with Transducers and Actuators to join our team on a 12-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension. This role is crucial in driving our efforts to develop and deploy cutting-edge computer vision solutions for operational excellence through innovative Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, designing and developing IoT systems that seamlessly connect devices, collect data, and deliver actionable insights. Reporting to the Data Operations Manager, the person in this role will work with the internal and external stake holders to develop computer vision solutions for our clients.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, develop, and implement IoT applications and systems using various programming languages, frameworks, and tools, with a focus on camera sensor integration, Transducers, and Actuators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, cloud architects, and data scientists, to integrate IoT solutions with existing systems and platforms
- Develop and implement secure communication protocols and data transfer mechanisms between IoT devices (including camera sensors, Transducers, and Actuators) and cloud infrastructure
- Optimize IoT applications for performance, scalability, and reliability, with emphasis on efficient handling of video, image data, and sensor data
- Integrate and control Transducers and Actuators within IoT systems for various applications
- Participate in the entire lifecycle of IoT projects, from ideation to deployment and maintenance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in IoT technology, computer vision, image processing, Transducers, and Actuators, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our solutions
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing IoT applications and systems, with a strong understanding of IoT architectures, protocols, and communication standards
- Hands-on experience with camera sensors, computer vision algorithms, image processing techniques, Transducers, and Actuators
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or JavaScript
- Experience with IoT platforms and frameworks (e.g., AWS IoT, Microsoft Azure IoT, Node-RED, or Raspberry Pi)
- Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and sensor technologies
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
